Mr. Joseph Sinnott is a highly experienced and approachable Consultant ENT and Thyroid Surgeon, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of ear, nose, throat, and thyroid conditions. With expertise in nasal disorders, tonsil issues, and rapid diagnosis of neck lumps, he also provides advanced care for blocked ears, hearing loss, dizziness and ear infections. Since 2022, he has served as an ENT Consultant at Great Western Hospital, Swindon, while also practicing privately at The Ridgeway Hospital and Shalbourne Private Healthcare.
Passionate about patient-centered care, Mr. Sinnott combines surgical excellence with a compassionate approach, ensuring each patient receives tailored, effective treatment in a supportive environment.

Your initial visit will include a detailed discussion of your symptoms and a thorough physical examination. Sometimes this is all that is required to reach a diagnosis and management plan. Sometimes further diagnostics tests or interventions may be recommended. If this is the case, we can discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these options.

Yes, I provide a variety of surgical treatments tailored to your needs, including minimally invasive procedures and advanced ENT surgeries for optimal outcomes. Please do not hesitate to get in touch is there is a specific procedure you would like to enquire about.

Mr. Sinnott works with most major insurance providers including BUPA, AXA, Aviva, WPA, General + Medical and some others. Please contact our office to confirm whether your specific provider is covered and to discuss your options. Thank you

Consultation fees for a new appointment range from £200 to £225.
Follow up appointments range from £120 to £200.
During consultations, diagnostics or therapeutic tests such as flexible nasendoscopy or ear microsuction may be recommended. It is your choice whether you have these tests/procedures if recommended. These may incur an additional fee but this will be explained to you and you will be asked whether you would like to proceed.
Please note that my professional fees are separate from those charged by the hospital.
Operations: For self funding patients: inclusive quotes can be provided including costs of follow up appointments.
